HR Assistant

Job description

Main Purpose:


The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting the recruitment process, on boarding and general HR admin duties.

The HR Assistant works within and assisting the Talent Acquisition vertical by providing 1st line HR support to all Betclic employees.



Main Responsibilities:

    Recruitment and Onboarding

    • Work closely with HR Advisor and the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, assisting with and coordinating the full cycle of recruitment and selection process, including attraction, tracking and selection of new employees;
    • Assist with preparation of job descriptions and job adverts, post and update roles on Applicant Tracking System;
    • Screen applications, liaise with hiring managers and candidates to set up interviews;
    • Participate in interviews and provide advice to managers for junior roles as needed;
    • Participate in induction and onboarding on new employees and handle new starter administration, including new starter documentation and Induction Packs.

    HR Admin

    • Monthly follow up of probationary review process. Issuing monthly report, ensuring completion of bi-monthly probationary review forms by line managers and recording of data.
    • The HR Assistant provides administrative support and will be assigned ad hoc duties as required according to business and team needs.

Job requirements

Must have:

    • Ideally should already be working for an online digital based company, experience of a gaming operator would be an advantage but not necessary;

    • Fluent in English, and second language an advantage;

    • Will be in an internal customer facing position so excellent face to face, phone and electronic communication skills;

    • Robust and resilient and able to deal with ambiguity – but not afraid to ask for help;

    • Sense of humour :);

    • Discreet with sensitive employee information;

    • Team player.


Good to have:

    • HR Qualification, or working towards;

    • Ability to work well and effectively under pressure;

    • Flexible;

    • Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications;

    • May be looking for an opportunity to enter I gaming industry and HR.
