Job description



Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Procurement & Credit Control Manager will be part of the BC Malta’s Finance Team, responsible for keeping the book and records of BC Malta Limited and other entities within the Betclic Everest Group. The Procurement & Credit Control Manager is responsible for managing effectively all cycles involved in Credit Control and Cost Reporting. He/She is also responsible for managing the operation teams with the said sections and developing respective process and controls to increase accuracy, timeliness and efficiency. This position calls for a self-motivated person who is able to take initiative and adapts easily and positively to changes. This role represents a stimulating and rewarding challenge in a fast-moving and growing international organization.




  • Lead the management of the credit control cycle and Payables Accounts, developing and sharing best practice in business processes and working capital reporting
  • Lead the Procurement Process; monitor efficiency, effectiveness and policy adherence, whilst assessing frequently risks with mitigating controls implementation
  • Manage a team with the daily posting functions, credit control and Accruals cycles. Assess effectiveness of such functions’ cycles and develop and optimise further where needed
  • Liaise with the Business and Operation Teams to ensure that requirements for improved credit control are implemented by the invoicing cycles
  • Understanding of the Transfer Pricing Set up and the Scope of each entity within the group to fully reflect the adequate KPI coding for proper cost allocation and distribution
  • Monitor and review the accruals processes, redesign to optimize if necessary, and signoff of the monthly cost reporting
  • Responsible of the Contract Control cycles with the intent to consolidate such with the internal commitment database
  • Review and report Supplier Aging
  • Monitoring of the Fiscal requirements and adherence to the applicable relevant laws




  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience with Particular exposure to Credit Control Functions
  • Degree equivalent in Management and Accounting

Job requirements



  • Knowledge on Sun System & Ipos Procurement Tool would be considered an Asset
  • Knowledge on Procurement tools
  • Staff management experience
  • Microsoft Office with a particular emphasis on Excel, Access
  • Accurate and meticulous
  • Innovative and taking initiatives
  • Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Shows positive attitude to changes in current processes and proposes any improvements where he/she feels there is room for.
